I’ve loved the Avetts for a while now, and it’s good to know other folks continue to find them.

The Avett Brothers - Paranoia In Bb Major

The fact that bluegrass itself is already pretty indie, makes indie-bluegrass or alt-bluegrass seem redundant. That is, however, the band’s essence, no more no less. I saw them at Webster Hall some months ago and had a raucous time.

The vocals are true and the harmonies simple. Easy listening that is also intense. I love it.
